MEET KIRK
Kirk Donaldson is the driving force behind Donaldson & Company Construction. A graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Qualitative Economics and a minor in Business Management, he combines sharp analytical skills with a strong business foundation to lead projects with precision.
His passion for construction began in childhood. Growing up in Jamaica, Kirk was fascinated by machinery and dreamed of building something meaningful. That early curiosity shaped his lifelong goal: to uplift Jamaica by creating jobs and strengthening the economy through construction.
Kirk’s career began as a Foreman, where he mastered heavy machinery, quality control, and safety. He advanced to Superintendent and Consultant roles, managing schedules, inspections, and productivity across complex projects. Today, his portfolio includes multi-million-dollar developments in senior living, affordable housing, and high-rise complexes.
With certifications including OSHA 30 and a Crane Operation License (CCO), and expertise in BIM 360, Bluebeam, lean methods, and advanced systems (hold-downs, CLP, AAC panels, firewall construction, UL design), Kirk ensures every project meets the highest standards of safety, innovation, and efficiency.
His blend of technical know-how, strategic vision, and dedication to excellence positions Donaldson & Company Construction as a trusted leader in delivering exceptional, community-driven results.
